What size?
Im making a site and i need to know what size (pixels) to make it so that it fits on an average screen? I tried 1024x768 (my res) but it was too big and didnt fit.
Thanks for any replies!

IMHO, not more than 750 x 550.
-
K thanks. Will it stretch then to fit larger screens?
-
When i make it 750 and preview it on a 1024 resolution, its all screwy and everythings to the left
lol so confused what do you guys use for your res?
and how do you get it to stretch or at least fit on a screen lol
-
I'm against 100% scaling. Movie should be embedded at 750 x 550 in a table to center it.
-
ok maybe this thread shoulda been in newb lol
what does that mean? lol
thanks

Are you using an html to embed your movie or are you linking directly to the .swf?
-
umm i havnt posted the site at all ive just been exporting the movie.
When i export it it looks fine but when i goto preview html its all screwy =P
all im using is flash 6
whats embedding? and whats tables? thanks again if you wanna just post a link that explains it or post either way it will be much appreciated.
thanks you

A bit basic for this forum! You could check this:

-
hehe k thanks
So this code will make the page centered on what ever res?
-
Not really! This is used to embed the movie in the html. Then you'll have to modify the html and add a table tag, to center the embedded movie.
With this a movie of 750 X 550 will appear the same size and centered, no matter what resolution. It will not expand though and will remain a 750 x 550 sized movie.
