    Running a movie in background

I have designed a really nice movie that fits the whole menu.
What I want to do is run this movie in a loop behind the actually meny so when people use the meny the animation is still going continously in the background.

Anyone know how I could go about this ?

    Thank you

I thought of that but I need it to continously loop behind the menu.
If I put a goto frame 1 command there wouldn't start the whole movie over again ?

When I try to put the button in the on the top layer it flashes out of existence after a frame as the movie runs.

I thought about making my background movie a movie clip but I don't think it would move through the scene like I need it to.

My movie is figures walking through a mist in the background I want that ro run continously behind the menu, but if I tried to make it into a movie clip I couldn't make the figures move through the screen like I need them to. Their walking motions are movie clips tweened across the stage so that they walk on and off the stage through the movie.

    Please help.

have you tries creating a seperate swf that loops. And a seperate swf for your menu/navigation. Then create a main swf that loads both menu swf and loop swf seperating, using load movie. This would allow you to keep those timlines running idependantly.
