    Advertisements with no point!

Okay, I've been seeing these ads more and more lately, most recently there was one on my screenabout ten seconds ago..

They're this (new?) type of pop under ad that shows up in the task bar and then remains minimized and cannot be expanded to make it viewable.

Now I know maybe someone thought "this is a good idea because if it can't be maximized it can't be closed", but if it can't be maximized it can't be seen either.
Now after clicking around for five minutes trying to get rid of it (thinking it would just spawn more popups) I finally got the ad to display (some online lotto thing), I then closed it and to my suprise no new popups were spawned.

So the ad is there... yet nobody can see it.. and it doesn't spawn new popup ads... so what exactly is the point of it??

The ones that spawn more popups are really annoying.
If you want to see something really annoying
    go to:

Warning: Do not click the following URL unless you enjoy restarting your computer.
    http://www.johniscool.com/open.htm

Its not an advertisment but is equally annoying.
You wish you had a footer like this one.

    Yes, it is actually.

Where'd you come from Jenn? I've been on for over 12 hours today, but you decided to come online during the one hour I wasn't online didn't you?
