I have an idea for a small web-based business I'd like to develop. I'm a flash designer, not a server guy, so I need a company that offers ease-of-use, good support, and importantly, INEXPENSIVE.

I don't wanna get ripped off. Any suggestions?

    purplenames are good:

100mb space, cgi, fast, reliable, v good and helpfull service
    £18 for .co.uk for 2 years!
about £30 for a .com or .net

I've been with them for a few months and I'm very pleased with the service

    Post In the USA?

Any spots in the united states? I don't think anyone wants to deal with an overseas company.

    Smile Arena1, man.

    http://www.arena1.com

Domains for $20. Tons of space, super-fast download times, and the guy who owns it was a designer, so they can cater to this side of the biz.

I've been with Arena1 for 2 years, and since they have a hot-wire backup, they're NEVER down. And my accout only costs me $15 a month. Can't beat it.

If you're just fooling around, you could go to geocities, but if you're making a BUSINESS, go with this company. They know what they're doing.

Hey, I use arena1.com too, and those guys are great (I wish Microsoft had that kind of people). Check this out.

I have 2 sites hosted at arena one as well. They're very good.

At school yesterday I downloaded a file from one of my web sites at 540 KB/sec! Not bad.

    Don't use Pair web hosting

I've had a Pair.com account for 3 months now and the service has been very bad. I've had problems with my email account and the site is really slow in the evenings.
