Out of Date
Guys & Girls,
This is sad...
I was big into flash a few years ago.
Now the more I surf new sites (eg. flashlevel.com, linotravel.com), the more I find myself completely out-of-touch with flash's new clean-and-fluid animation. I was always used to it being barely-nice and barely-fluid...
I need to get with it quick.
Can anyone give me some book titles to buy and/or some real good instruction for the intermediate animator...?
Corian
p.s. I do have MX...

check out www.flashkit.com .. oh wait...
I reccomend the New Riders books on flash, they have some great lessons in there, but most of the stuff I learned was here at FK

Whoa, you live in Toronto?! What a coincedence!
As I wrote in another thread, a Flash festival is coming up at the Guvernment, called flash in a can. If you are really interested in going back into Flash, I would implore you to go, as you'll learn tons from the speakers that they have coming (including top guys from Macromedia, Pixelsurgeon and of course, the all-maple Colin Moock).
<<< Hopefully less of an a**.
