Sorry that is not what I'm lookin for. If you have a background 1000x100 it automatically is tiled in an html page Right!! Well am trying to find out if it is possible to do the same in flash. I am tring to minimize file size with such a large image.
I don't think that that many other users have responded to your threads as much as I have!
To simply answer your question, no! There's no way, that I know of, of tiling a background in Flash as you would do it in html. I suggested a way of replicating the effect, but you didn't like the suggestion, then fine, suit yourself man. Hope you'll get a better answer, but the way it seems to be going, I doubt it more and more!
Furthermore, because of your attitude, I will no longer rush to try and answer your next questions, since you don't seem to appreciate my answers, and I do not wish to antagonize you more than I have already have!
No Ok I'll Try it your way!! Thank you. Sorry for my burst. Just been real pressured lately. It seems every time you post a reply you are tryin to send me to help in flash and for some reason I have a hard time learning like that. This seems to be the only way for me, find it,try it,learn from it!!!peace, wayne
cant you just load .jpg into MC check _x and _y scale and position, then duplicate the other 999 to (_x and _y position * .jpg _x and _y scales)? theoretically?
