    masking in illustrator

    hey,

    Im wondering how to do masking in illustrator like I can in photoshop, in photoshop its just a matter of pressing the quick mask mode button and im away, but illustrator confuses the hell out of me, its all this clipping masks and stuff?

    Are you in the UK? if so the lastest issue of Computer arts mag has a article on masking in illustrator...i'm scanning the page as i type.

    hey,

    im actually from new zealand, but i think we get that magazine here.

    thanks for scanning that, it cleared up some of the masking issues i had except what i need to mask with the spray tool, like you can in quick mask mode in photoshop, do you know how to do it that way?
