A 3D modeling and animation tool I have been using for a number of years is Amorphium (http://www.electricimage.com ). It is a very powerful and easy to use modeling tool.

The most recent version, Amorphium 3, allows you to export your 3D work, still or animation, to Flash format. What's great is that you can specify how you want to export your work into Flash i.e. with outlines or wireframe only, cartoon or with gradients etc. It is also one of the fastest rendering tools I have ever used.

Check it out. Compared to similar products on the market it is very good value for money.

i wonder why this beauty of a 3d software is always left out ?!

    Realsoft 3D V5 (http://www.realsoft.fi/)
mainly nurbs based modeler, the interface is quite unique, but the workflow is really good (if you ever try it, take a look at the bool operations which are unbelievable easy to handle)
