    pop up

I have searched through here, but can't seem to find anything that works for me.

Very simple for someone with a brain I would imagine...

a button in my flash window.
When clicked, the file "map.swf" pops up in a new window, which fits it perfectly (500x300)

    Simple!?

    How?!

    Cheers

I tried that, but it ends up with 2 windows popping up.
1 is empty, and the other is fine, but displays the URL along the top (which I DONT want)
    Suggestions?!

    Cheers

too big to attach, but the file is here:-
    http://www.knowledgesharesolutions.com/learney/map.swf

    The site is at http://www.knowledgesharesolutions.com/learney/
and I want to be able to click on the map in the "location" section to be able to load this up.

I am using the space from another site I did (and you did!) to host this, so I don't want the full address apearing at the top.

    Thanks

Are you using the javascript function completely within the getUrl, or is the getURL just a call to a javascript function defined in the html.
Don't really need the .fla. Just the getURL code and/or the javascript function used, if it's in the html.

Do you mean you don't want an address bar?

haven't got anything working just now... just want whatever will work best?

Its the title I don't want displaying the url.
On this page it says "Flash Kit Community Forums" - when mine did pop up it said "www.knowledgesharesolutions.com/learney/map.html"

I don't mind if it just says MAP or something, but don't want the url.

So the Title on the pop up is the only problem left to solve?

You do have access to http://www.knowledgesharesolutions.c...rney/map.html, to change that html, right?

Think you would have to use a body onLoad event to change the document's title through a javascript function defined in that html itself.
I have to get back to my day job, so don't have time now to search for that script. Try to find it yourself with a search engine...
    Something like "javascript+change document title"...
If you can't find it, I may look into it tonight!

Usually by adding void(0); after your window.open code.

Search for void(0) here on the forum, you should find something.

I'm out of here for the rest of the day!
