    A question for you man....

    how is flash mx so different from flash 5? i just got it today at work..is there anywhere i can read about the pros and cons or something?

    I thought that too when I first got MX. Actually I thought, damn, look at all this GUI crap blocking my view and slowing down my computer... But I've come to love MX. It depends on who you are... If you just do simple animations, then it's mostly interface stuff, but if you are an actionscript coder, then a new world is opening. The most complete answer to what's new is probably Colin Moock's book ActionScript the Difinitive Guide from O'Reilly's.

    I think aqeel meant that your request shows you're really not investing much time into your request, so he wont invest any in his reply... "F1" just means press the "F1" while in MX and you get a comprehensive what's what of what's what. If you're on a Mac, I can't help you...

    yes better for video...

    If you're going to go through a laundry list of what's new and cool in flash MX one at a time, this is going to be a VERY long thread...

    oh..

    well, actually i am not the one who requested it, but i am the one who will be using it. i know flash 5, and wasnt expecting to get mx today...i'll do my usual thing until i come to a stopping point....thanx for the tips though....and i am on a PC..never a MAC
