this is the first site ive made that has a personal theme to it.. its a poetry site.. please give me feedback on the site and the design and if ud like u can give feedback on the content aswell..

p.s. the opening page sucks very much it was a quicky to get the site done..

Sorry! Couldn't get back to you this morning.

The splash page doesn't look that bad...

The preloader gave a great first impression. Why? ... Nice colors.

And then... I saw the amazing intro.
Just simply amazing photos. I think I saw those photos before... at Webshots?

Amazing backgrounds.

You sure have a great eye for great pictures.

u probbaly have seen those b4.. i got most of them from freefoto.com but im planning on taking some of my own and maybe use those.. i doubt ill be sucessful but hey its an idea..

Hi Jesse,
nice site!!!
Just some thoughts...
The start page looks great, but the [ENTER] button is a punch un the eye. I suggest to put it on the bottom right angle of the picture and map it.
You could also have the chromeless hiding completely the starting picture.
The close button of the chromeless disappears on rollover, I guess you left the original colour, try to change the colour to grey.
Why not adding some personal info about you in a different menu? something like "about me"...
As for the pix, they're really good but I always prefer selfmade ones.
I really liked the poems, expecially the untitled one.

thanks thats a great idea i think i will do that i really dont like the enter button myself.. as for the rollover..

im too lazy but i will look into it now sicne someone noticed

the about me section sounds very appealing and i tihnk ill that too! thanks for ur suggestions and im glad you liked the poem! oh and as for the pictures i wanna get my own up there aswell but it will take awhile.. sicne im in vancouver canada.. the weather is a bit strange

ok well i took the advice of RudyB and i got rid of the ugly ENTER words.. and ive added a about me section into the mix and tell me what you think

any more suggestions would be awesome everyones already been a big help in making the site better.. it can never be perfect so keep the feedback coming if you got any!! thanks!

heres the org_v1 font.. this site is great ull find all the pixel fonts(the ncie and clear ones) on this site u can always search in google or anyother search engine aswell..

That's nice man. Really nice! Have you tried to reverse the rollover effects at the bottom? I mean go from the initial state of foggy to clear picture on roll, and leave just a little stripe for the text on the pictures? I think that'd make it even better.
Anyway, nice looking site!

i dont get it really

could you explain it sounds interesting..how do i reverse the rollover? ive been tryign to figure that out for a while now..
