Here's the swi file. Maybe it'll be easier like this.
It's basically all in a sprite that creates the rollover. The actions are: on roll over, go to frame where your over effect is. On roll out go to frame where your roll out effect is.

what do u mean by "selfmade pics" ??
I mean the photographs that one takes by himself using a camera...

anyway the site looks nicer...very very nice "about me" section.
It's a great work for me.

    bye

SPLASH- Very good, very very good
PRELOADER- Got real annoyin with the text effect
LOADING TIME- I am on 576kbs-1 and this took ages to load, you might want to cut down on some quality somewhere
    NAV- Nice
    BACKGROUNDS- Very good, amazing pictures
TEXT- A good pixel font, but clashes too much with background. I would consider making the white rectangle slighter more white, as this would increase text visibility

Good site, but try and cut down on loading times

how did you do the effect on the white rectangle after the preloader? the one that grows to its size... been lookin for it in swish...

    hi trufgreen,

first make the shape.. and then place it and change the X Scale factor to 0 and then add a movement effect by double clicking a few frames ahead and then in that make the sacle factor to 100 and it should work! let me know if it works out..

    blurred text

    hi JR898,
do you know how to keep swish and flash from blurring the edges of fonts like the pixel fonts in your site? thanks.

  15. #35
    Marco,
i dont understand.. do u mean how to have fonts that arent blurred at all like the ones i have? for that use pixel fonts and make sure u have them aligned at x,y cordinates that are whole numbers (i.e. 4) and not 4.5, 4.3, etc and also make sure it is aligned by Top Left and not center. Also make sure u use the appropraite size becuase pixel fonts are only ment to be used at specific font sizes.. usually they are used at 8 i hope this is what u meant.. if not let me know.. and ill do my best to help..!

    about non blurred fonts:
marco, you can find plenty of pixel (or bitmap) fonts at http://www.dafont.com
when you download them, mind the right size to use each of them. it's written near the download button of each font.

I don't like the fact that you feel the need to take over my entire screen for such a little site. Thats my only gripe, I hate pop-up sites especially when they want to "show there dominance" over my other windows and maximizes itself to full screen.

the site is pretty small compared to others ive seen it takes up 1/4 of my screen and thats not very much.. but any smaller the site would be too small to show any content
