I have flash 5, and need to know how can I position an object directly in the middle in the crosshair.
I only had version 4 for about a month and remember some feature under the Modify that you can align and position it dead center X
Help...thanks....

control k will display the alignment panel
then select the "to stage" button
then click the 2nd button to alighn it to horizontal center and the 5th one will do vertical center

if you want to center a symbol on the cross hair select the symbol in the symbol edit window, then in the info pallet select the middle box next to the x & y points, then type 0's in both boxes
