    Hi wouter...

    Work size: 1280x1024
    Work DPI: 300
All of the graphics I do are at least 300 DPI, and here is this reason:

Although you can lower the DPI of an image to suite your needs, you cannot raise it without making it so small as to be unusable. I have been in the situation before, where an image I created was chosen for a publication, and because I was short sighted enough to create my masterpiece in 72 DPI, the image could not be used.

So, I hope you can see a valid reason as to creating your graphics in a richer environment.

And yes, there is no reason to create "webpage" graphics in a DPI over 72-100.

3PRIMATES, I was going to enter this, but decided not to since mine would be nowhere as good as yours. Did you use Photoshop and Painter?

    Hi,
    its all photoshop..

I wouldnt worry about your skill level, just do the best you can do and follow the guidlines I set for the event.

The submissions can be mixed and matched to create a new image, so if they dont like yours than can use part of mine or someone elses..

Have fun and see what happens..

Cool idea, I have never worked with that high dpi, but I will have to soon because my submissions for this certain project require 300 dpi images

adity, don't be shy, everyone has started somewhere and I'd recommend graphics tennis as a great way to learn photoshop

Here's mine, for all you monochrome lovers out there. I think it turned out a lot better than I though it would, I normally use flash or the good old pencl to draw (as I normally do cartoons) so sorry if it's not too good
