    .swi to .fla?

I'd like to be able to create some text effects (or even a whole website) using SWiSH 2.0 and then go back and edit it in FlashMX. Is this possible? There doesn't seem to be a way to save a SWiSH file in any other format than .swi, .swf, or .avi.

Nope, can't be done. The best you can do is to make the effects in Swish and use the output swf in a loadMovie action in a flash movie. If there are absolutely no actions, like a place, or remove or stop anywhere in the Swish movie, you can export the swf then Import to Library in flash. This will give you a frame by frame animation of the effect, and it will work as a movie clip. In my tests, only certon effects will import. Some of them must use some built in script and flash refuses to import them. You can still use the swf in loadMovie though. Sounds won't import at all.
