    installing new fonts

    i downloaded some new fonts and want to make them available in flash. how can i install them with the rest?

    Simply drag them into your fonts folder

    If you want to mess up your fonts folder and eventually your whole system, yes, drag the fonts into the folder...

    New fonts always need to be INSTALLED! settings > control panel > fonts > file > install new font.

    Dragging the fonts into the folder will work too, but if your fonts folder becomes inaccessible and programs that use those fonts mess up when you try to use them, blame the 'dragging'.

    I recommend using a font manager. There are lots of free ones out there. I use The Font Thing - http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html - it is now over 3 years old but still does a fine job of managing fonts.
