    Saving transparent with dropshadows....possible?

Trying to save an image with a transparent background but I have dropshadowing on some text. When I save the file for the web in photoshop the background is transparent but there are white pixels around the text (between text and drop shadow)

is there a way to get a clean drop shadow with a transparent background?

    Using photoshop v7.

    Thanks

Save images as .png instead of .gif

If you created your shadow through layer style sometimes you can get funny results. Do it by duplicating your text layer ,filling it and use that to create your shadow. Also try rastering the text. Then try saving the file as a png.
