    shape tween - sliding shutter

    hi...
    i was trying out an animation of a (say, shutter) sliding in and out.. got something working... but i didn't get the actual good effect... any one in design side?? can u take a look on the file?

    it is a simple shape tweening.. thnx

    Hi from what i know of how shutters work they rotate, if u mask a circle (the lens) then rotate the stutter shape using a movie clip

    then u can duplicate it (rotate it etc) and have 6

    ps i have nt looked at the zip

    nearly all i download are made in mx which i have nt bought yet

    hello Black_phoenix,

    thnx for ur reply.. i am not telling the shutter in camera sense...

    this holds up a fabric and slides sideways... pls. see this attachment.. in v5

    currenlty the shutter moves up.. i want to move sideways... come in the left and then go right again (pls. see the attachement)..

    there is a movie clip called "shutter" just alter that, or delete it and re do the sliding effect u require

    should be quite simple to achieve

    i'm happy to explain how to do it but i dont have the time to do it for u

    all u have to do it get a shape and move it from the left to right and use the fabric placer (purple thing) as u have it now in the mc

    its really easy to do
