FK Catwoman
I dont know...I am a foreigner. Brit comedy sitcoms never went down too well with me
Probably Only Fools and Horses & Absolutely Fabulous (on the strenth of good acting)
I think the UK has a serious shortage of good TV writers -the BBC even started some initiatives a couple of years back to find some new talent. Something might come out of it in the next 2-3 years hopefully

How could you miss out Alan Partridge/Coogans Run/Knowing me Knowing You?! the funniest man on TV.
Coupling is pretty funny too

There's some superb comedy on tv at the moment but I think 'the office' has to take the title as the best 'sitcom' of recent years, of any country, it's just pure genius.
Fawlty towers is probably still my all time favourite though

Waaambulance Pilot
I remember watching some Faulty Towers a while ago. Possibly the only british stuff I've ever laughed at aside from Trigger Happy TV.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid

supervillain
Benny Hill or Trigger Happy TV

FK Photoshop Slut
They're all ****. There's no talent in British TV anymore. Best thing I saw recently was Have I got News for you with Martin Clunes presenting and Ruby Wax and Glenda Jacksson on the panel. Now that was entertainment. Hysterical!!!

Although Hat trick are a British production company.
"They're very much like scruffy pigs to look at, and they've got big, knobbly warts and lumps all over their long, hairy faces. They are very, very ugly indeed..."

Moonlight shadow
Well at least it's closer to home than Red Dwarf is

'Keeping Up Appearances' and 'Chef' are from the UK right. I know they're old but I like 'em...

depends where your from I suppose, I cannot bear to watch some of the yank comedy at the moment, will and grace? scrubs? rubbish mate, rubbish.
its a bit dark but the league of gentlemen was excellent.
britain is enjoying a run of good comedy writers at the moment.
caroline aherne with the royle family,
ricky gervais with the office
reece and the other 2 with the league of gentlemen.
steve coogan with alan partridge.
theres the classics too, fawlty towers, hi de hi etc.
british comedy is excellent but modern stuff relies heavily on sarcasm which is not quite as mainstream in the US therefore a lot of our stuff doesn't go down too well there.
