Can someone help me?

I am loading an external swf movie into an empty movieclip' the thing is I would like to place two buttons on the main movie to pause and play the external swf that I am loading. The reason for this is because where the movie loads is masked off to fit in the border of the main movie but I want the buttons to show up on the border of the main movie and not on top of my externaly loaded swf.

i tried to keep it as simple as possible. theres two flas (movie, ball) inside movie, is a load button, a play button and a stop button. load, will load ball into an emptyMC on stage. play and stop will control the ball timeline. I know its real basic, but I hope it helps.
