Graphic Design College text books?
Hello everyone
I know there are many of you(alot) that have or are going to school, taking graphic design and art classes. I would like to know if you are using any books to aid the class or instructor, and If so, wich ones?
Hope this makes some sorta sense.

I finished college in 2001 with a BA in Advertising and a Minor in Architecture. My focus was on visual communication, design and interactive design. I don't remember that many books that we were assigned other than software books for software we were learning, but there are a few I can reccommend from personal experience that I was reading while in college. If you want to know more than just techniques, books about graphic design history and typography are always good.
Another thing I'd reccomend is to pull up some universities and look for the liberal arts/art programs, see if professors are listed, and see if they have a syllabus on-line with reading reccomendations. Might be easier said than done, though, but if you were to look at top schools you'd find some interesting stuff.
