Here's a more recent one I still think it sucks....but I'm getting better....I just need some ideas and hints...what makes this wrong I can see it's wrong but why?

the bad color purple that, and the way the menu interacts with the mouse... it doesn't go away unless i click it off... that's somewhat odd

are you going for a 'toony' feel, or what? the jagged border adds to that feeling...
