[Red and green side lines(see attached pic) are reference points]
Between the red lines I want no bevel(perfect square)(to conform w/ the green back). Along the green line I want the hammer face(blue) to have a gradual decreasing bevel from the top of the face down to where the green line ends. I have the correct face bevel on it now that i did w/ extrusion editor but the bevel should gradually decrease from the top of the blue to the area at the end of the green line.
if possible, care to explain again? I seriously don't get what you're trying to do...
but to quickly answer, yes. it's possible. it will have to be more modular - read: you'll need more pieces to make up your object... or you will have to invest some time into lathe and extrusion.
but to be 100% honest... I'm not just following what you're trying to do.
blame it on the fact that I've had one week of travel perhaps?
i had a go at it, i think this is what your after;

i wouldn't recommend this method. i think you could whip up these unusual shapes in a modelling program such as http://www.wings3d.com or any number of free 3d modelling tools out there. then import it into swift.
finally some experimenting with the polyheadron wouldn't hurt either. the shape seems like it would suite.

Hey Blink ... I was checking out that wings 3d program you mentioned... I didn't see any exports that swifts accepts... just checking it out before I download ... Do you use this program, and I know swift can't handle to much, and will Wings be supporting animation anytime soon?... I know theres a few questions here you may not know how to answer, but if you do answer will be appreciated.. thx much ...
know of any good free progs, that you could use to texture your models from wings?, I know I could texture with swift, but I am sure I may get into complex models, and swift might not be the best thing for it.
