More Than Just Chromeless Pop Ups!!!
Hi People!
I have a query about Chromeless Windows.
I know that the term chromeless popup window is one that doesn't show the browsers menu or tool bar, but does retain the title bar (for easy closing).
BUT....
I have seen Pop Up Windows that appear without ANY Chrome at all - not even the Title bar or browser edge, just windows that look as though they could be MC's (Movie Clips) in Flash but aren't, the seem to be seperate HTML pages
I can't find any examples at this point but....
CAN ANBODY RELATE TO WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT?!
Cheers

Check MICROBIANS.com!
I found an example of what U're asking for there (I think!). They even provide the scripts needed.

Hope U'll find it useful.

Be careful
There is an issue with chromeless windows and newer versions of IE. You will get a full screen window instead if your windows are a certain size.

You usually refer to a chromeless window, when it's fully naked, without even the title bar. Only works with IE. A fullscreen window is one that has a title bar (as with Netscape), although with IE, a fullscreen can also be without a title bar.
But you seem to be talking about a transparent Flash movie which is embedded in a higher division, over an html background with or without other embedded Flash movies.

Well, just a slight comment. Remember that chromeless also doesn´t work in IE version 6.0 with Servicepack ver1 installed on WinXP.
ik.
I cannot live without dreaming, but maybe it is just a dream that I am living...

FK's Geezer Mod
I got Microbians script, and was successful in making a chromeless window, but was never able to get to open in any size but full screen, despite promises of sizing.
