    Ok, where to begin...

    there is no actual code for a fla. All the code has to actually go somewhere, in a button, a movieclip, a frame etc...

    So to look at the code for say a button you can do a number of things the easiest being right clicking on it and going to actions.

    If you want to view all the objects in a fla and any code in them you can use the movie explorer. but you can't edit any code there.

    oh my....well see i have this .fla file that i have to change the paramerters to grab content from....but don't know where to change or anythin.

    Here i have attached a file that maybe will explain what i'm trying to do.

    this is a plugin to use with swish to grab external .txt files but somewhere i'm suppose to be able to change something to tell it what to grab.

    thanks for your reply

    Ok the parameter you want to change is on the first frame(if you can't find the first frame look at the pic in the attached zip file)

    In the first frame there is code that looks like:

    loadVariablesNum ("loaded_text.txt", 0);

    just change the "loaded_text.txt" to whatever your text file is called.

    right click, that will bring up a menu, go to "actions" on that menu and the code is in the window that will open up.
