flash 5 and freehand 9.0.1

importing text from freehand 9.0.1

flash should maintain text blocks on text imported from a layout in freehand... when it is a small amount of text, it is still editable, but when the text is something like a paragraph, it converts it all to shapes and is about 2000% larger file size on export... is there something else
that needs to be set in order to maintain all of the text blocks...

I often have problems with imnporting from Freehand,
try to export from Freehand as swf first -> then import into Flash
