Suggestions, please.

This is a page I've been working on for a little while. The news section, gig section and guestbook are all made with flash remoting and Cold Fusion. All 3 have an administration console accessable to the people in the band for updates.

This isn't my band, just a friends I'm doing the page for...

If anybody has any comments or any suggestions at all, PLEASE let me know.. I'm dieing to hear something from other people who do flash and not just my friends who have seen it. -=o)

people should NOT HAVE TO turn off there pop-up blockers just to view your site. Get rid of the pop up or provide a link.

I can hardly read the text on the links. Also, its kind of odd that the navigation is based on the lettering. Its really more confusing than inventive. Everything else is pretty basic.

Well, i DO have a popupkiller, cant surf without it. I use PUK=Popupkiller the original.
I disable it when i checked your site, and the popup window did not display for me anyway.

Another much more serious thing though, i dont care who it is, good or bad. if s(he) have popups on the site, its not worth the time.

Comments/Suggestions:
- Simple and effective.
- Navigation rollovers hard to read. I would go
for a lighter color that contrasts better with the
background black.
- A simple solution to your popup problem is to
have a splash page that allows the user to choose
between either POPUP or NORMAL.
- Also, this isn't a big issue, but... I would try
to use just one font for all of the content.

I appreciate all the feedback and will work on the suggestions.

Things that will be changed:
*Universal Fonts
*Color change for the menu - lighter color.
*add effects to the menu
*Change the popup page - seems to be a bad idea.
