Using local files for internet

I want to use local files in a flash movie which plays into the internet.

How can I load this files into the movie?

I´ve tried something like loadMovieNum("g:\\localfile.swf",1); but it´s not working.

I don't think you can - all local paths will refer back to the server. It would probably be best to distribute the whole file as a projector that visitors can download - then you could use local files too.
