Looking for some training-can pay if necessary
Looking for some training in very simple CGI forms, such as email capture boxes and contact forms. Actually, I would like to know how to make any form send to an email address neatly. Let me know if you are interested. I'd rather not pay since I know this isn't that complicated, but if I need to, I will. Thanks in advance.

Oh, sorry.
I've been using some simple .php scripts, mostly to learn how it interacts with Flash. From what little i know, .php is much better than .cgi, but your mileage may vary.
http://www.php.net is where i started.

Yeah, my Flash forms are PHP for now. Thing is, i've put off learning basic cgi programming for too long now. I have clients asking me to make them forms and I can't do it. I need to know where to start. Anyone know anything about http://www.scriptarchive.com/ ?

Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk! Hey Moe...
check this out gdstudios... it might solve your problem but not necessarily with cgi.
http://www.thesitewizard.com/archive/feedbackphp.shtml
It's a very simple and straight forward tutorial on handling forms and sending the collected data to an email address. if this isn't it the site may have what you need otherwise check out http://www.devshed.com/ or perhaps the perl website.

Dear Matt,
We're sorry, but spamming like this is a bannable offense, and we're forced to block your IP, your username, took your dog hostage, cancelled your credit cards, issued a warrant to seize your computer, gave your grade-school librarian your address to collect on those overdue National Geographic magazines, and have slandered your reputation at the Aremican Dyslexic Society.
I hope your happy!

Hi gdstudios,
ask specific questions in the scripting and backend forum, and you will probably get some replies. If you search a bit, you will probably find both complete scripts and reasons why you should use your own rather than premade ones from an archive
