After Attaching multiple Mc's... then HOW DO I SPACE THEN EVENLY ??????

    Hi,

Im running a loop and attaching multiple movie clips

can someone tell me how to then space the movieclips evenly in x and y positions ..

I need to know 1)how to space them in a grid formation

    and 2)
also be able to space 3 out evenly space in x position then add another 3 after these 3 have scrolled up underneath

so the new 3mc's are spaced evenly again in horizontaly but also with an even space under the origonal 3... so they eventually make up a grid formation

Ive tried using hittest and move them etc
    Thank you in advance

for 1) does the attached fla help ?
for 2) attach and position -
    code:
    _root.attachMovie("myMovieClip" ,"myMovieClip_mc", 50,
    {_x:100, _y:220, _alpha:50, _rotation:30, _yscale:50});

Wicked ! how do I make that a looping scroilling grid?

Thank you so much for that !!!!

After looking hard through it .. I just about get it.. sorry Im not advanced yet..but getting there !

If I set three up in one row then set these up onEnterFrame to scroll up the stage

how would I keep adding three more underneath which keep the x and y positioning and repeated
..so I eventually had a scrolling grid that kept repeating and then removed the Mcs when they went over the top of the stage and new one ones appear under stage so it kept looping ?

    thanks again, much appreiciated

a scrolling grid that kept repeating.........and new ones appear under stage
where are you generating all of these new movieclips from ?

or, are you repeating a sequence of movieclips?

    panning up a building

    panning up a building

    Thank you

Basically, Im trying to produce a building that gives the effect of scrolling up it in a game

Now I want rows of 3 windows that continually get produced, so they appear under the stage, then move up the stage, then get removed !

This will give the appearance of panning up the building.
so you get a grid like formation of windows in rows of 3.
Row appears, moves up, gets deleted

In these windows I will try and get different baddies to appear and do differnet things..(dont know how yet ???!!)

I could attach a sketch if it helps

    Thanks again
