Illustrator -Export to SWF adds points

I'm working on some size sensative flash animations with artwork originating in illustrator. However, I'm haveing serious problems importing the artwork easily.

exporting to SWF gets the color right but it adds lots of exra points to every curve, which increated file size. A four point shape in illustrator exported to swf might have six or eight points, which adds up.

if I simply copy and paste the colors get messed up. Yes, they are RGB.

When I try to import and eps into into flash...flash crashes.

I briefly experemented with freehand, but found it also added points when exporting to swf, and distorted color when copy/pasting.

I would love to find a easy, and acurate way to make these programs work together. THANK YOU!!!

It's not the programs thats adding the points it's Flash.

I don't believe there is a way around it.

I think YWNM is correct. I've tried this many ways, many times. Since Illustrator & Flash aren't entirely compatible, you'll always need to make a few adjustments after you import/export your artwork whether it's extra points, color format, etc...

    I wish it were easier!

Yeah, this is such a pain... But thanks for your thoughts guys. I wish I was better with Flash's pen tool... I would just work naitively. Oh well.

    Thank Again
