Hey all..

This logo is for a company that sells Motorcycle leather, basically like the saddle bags, chaps, that kind of thing for like harleys and such.

opinions?

Suggestions?

the first thing I thought was film but then I read it and it made sense.

looks good but doesnt look badass enough, but maybe you want that?

awesome... i can see it in easy riders or the like!

very appropriate for the genre...

only suggestion for the top logo (which will get less use), is that the texture looks more like canvas than leather...

The first one looks pretty good......

BUT

It looks too cartoonish for biker wear. Do you think Jesse James from West Coast Choppers would wear that logo? He'd probably burn it.

I guess that first design is showing how much of a pansy I really am...

that westcoastchoppers site is sick.. some good inspiration to the type of style I should be shooting for.. alright.. scrapping that font.. going for something tougher looking.

Ok this draft is a little more hard edged than the last one I worked up.

This is what I have for the black and white layout so far. I'll add some "cooler" aspects to it later, but I want to get the B/W version done up first.

Is this too hard to read??

See any other issues?

Looks better, but you might have gone a little to "Lord of the ringish" you know what i mean? but it might just be me

By the way, this is 3 different versions of the same logo, 1 full color, and two different versions that I created as Vector images in 1 color for various needs of the business owner.

Defiantely the top one of the redesign - its got more balls and looks hard.

Your original one looked a bit, 'gay'', for want of a better word.

My roomate who'se into bikes... Laughed at my first version, then summed it up in exactly the same way.

This would have been a good tagline for the first one:

MotoLeather - The Softer Cuddlier side of Harley

:ha ha, oh well.. as long as it's cool now I'm happy, still waiting on a response from the client....

yeha top one of ur new versions looks the best. the first version sorta looks like a casino sign with the lightbulbs round the edge.

..if u could chrome the letters it would look even better.

..and do away with the nicks if possible.
