How do I embed a font?

I'm not sure how to do this, but I'd like to learn

On other computers, if the font is not installed on their machine, then they get a default text where my text should be. I think it turns to times new roman on other computers.

I'm using a pixel font made for flash, but it's not showing up on other computers, and I was told if I embeded the font, it would work fine.

    Anyone help?

If it's static text, uncheck the "Use Device Fonts" thing in the properties panel when the text box is selected. Static text is embedded by default. If it's Dynamic text, click the box and in the Properties panel click the "Characters" button. You'll see how then. Try to use the 'Only' option. Checking the 'Upper Case only' thing adds like 2K to the SWF, checking the whole Font adds like 40K. A big difference.
