Fonts aliased when put to layers?

Hey guys, I have a huge problem.

When I place my pixel font onto the main stage, not in any other layer, just scene1, its crisp and clear, fixed up all nicely.

When I go into a layer or two, into a different movie clip, all the sudden no matter what I do, I cant get that same crisp look on the font. I edit the _x and _y to make it whole numbers and all, but no luck.

    Is this common?

    Can anyone help?

I'm guessing you are meaning levels and not layers?

In any case, for movie clips, everything must be placed on the pixel. Also, if your movie clip is sharing its space with text plus other elements, these elements may also need to be placed on the pixel.

    Layers shouldn't be an issue.
mc's occasionally are if there are objects that push the
    mc off
