    need help...loading scenes

    any possible way of loading scenes independently from the whole movie?
    for example...the user loads scene1...and when he clicks to go to the next scene...the next scene will be loaded and so on..instead of loadig the whole movie and waiting forever...
    i dont know too much about actionscript..so if you can link me to a tutorial or expain me with a lot of details it will be great!

    I guess you could make each scene different movie clips and loading them into a target whenever u press next or watever.

    Once a load starts in a movie, it loads everything. There is no way to stop loading, only the movie playhead. You could code a preloader to start afer scene 1 is loaded though, and the rest keeps loading in the background.
