    Audio Caching Question

Due to server limitations, we are not able to allow for the bandwidth that the site would like to have. Originally, we decided to just dismiss the notion of using flash until we obtained a better host. Right now, however, this is not yet possible. And yet, we have decided to use Flash in limited ways.

My question is this: In theory, when a flash movie is retrieved from the server, it is cached on the users hard drive in the instance of a temporary internet file. Does this also apply to movies containing an MP3 loop? Or does the loop continuously download from the server and play over and over thereby draining our precious bandwidth?

Help on this matter would be greately appreciated.

Thank GOD it does not work that way or loops would be useless.....No, the sound is cached and simply looped in memory.

Thank you so much Jeff. It should have been an obvious answer, and yes, this was my original thought. Thanks again for your amazingly quick reply and all the help you have given me.
