    Dual monitor with laptop

    (if this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it)

    I have a laptop that sits on my desk next to my computer and is rarely used (use it when traveling). I was wondering if I could use the screen as a 2nd monitor. It would be a lot cheaper than buying a 2nd monitor, wouldnt take up anymore room and just be a lot easier for me. So, is it possible? And if it is, what do I need to make it work?

    And if you need to know what kind I have, its a compaq presario



    [edit] just found out you can do it with the 1800 series, but i have 1400, damn. nm
