Could really use some help: what do you think this site is worth?

    Hi,

I can really use your help.

Can you help me price this site I did: http://www.justwoodfloors.biz

I also provided the code to check for Flash MX plug-in and redirect the user accordingly.

I charged $500.00 for this site. Currently I am doing a similar site with TWICE as many menu sections and the ability to update their "testimonials" section via an XML file (so there will be xml file reading, etc.). I was planning on charging $1500.00 for this one. Am I being fair?

well. It looks like you have got most of your script free from source code. Most unadapted aswell, which is a little lame.
The menu is not very good, no rollovers ? , and also the glow around testimonials doesnt look right.
The fonts you are using look novice, and the headers are plain.
To be honest 1500 dollars takes the mickey for this standard of work.
    Just my opinion...

This was my first Flash site. I did not get any AS from anyone. Was $500.00 too much for that site you think?

i have to agree with disorda when he says it doesn't look that professional, but since it's your first flash site and you're got to start somewhere, i guess it's ok.

you asked 500 dollars for that site? i think that might be a little above it's real value but i'm not sure what the sites prices are there.

ty. I guess I have to spice my stuff up a little bit. I usually do sites that are clean looking with not alot of stuff going on. I guess I can still keep it "clean" and add some of the interesting touches that would make it look better and more professional.

    hmmm.

I like the colour, you need to be a bit more imaginative with the fonts as times roman and arial can only take you so far.
Try some rollover effects on the menu sections using a seperate mc for each button, and lose the corny rollover sounds.

Great for a first try though, good luck...

can you check my site at: this post

    thanx

    mmmhhh... Alchohol...
