50 cent
I was just wondering what you thought of www.50cent.com?

Not a bad site.
Are rap stars doubling as comedians? Because they are quite funny, for an example look at this picture, what does it mean?
ARRRGGH, I can't stand rap as you might know by now.

FK's Homer J.
i really like the beginning how it has a shatter effect to it.
overall, cleverly marketed, poorly executed

To explain a lifestyle that you don't understand is difficult, so i won't bother describing or trying to understand the comparison of a comedian and a image of 50 Cent.
As far as the site, i was not impressed, considering the content they have to work with. I would love to work on a project like that, and I plan to do so in the near future. The site is ok, just misses it's full potential.

Kind of a cool site, I guess it represents him well.
But dear god do I hate the music and the attitude.
More so than any other music since the blues, hip-hop is all about stories.

nice site
what's the matter if he got rich with his music?

The Eror Group
for me that site was one of the worst i have seen in a long time.
poorly executed, amatuerish, and i didnt feel that it represented hip hop at all.
and whats with the flash bg's?such a shame, an artist such as 50cent i would have thought would want to have some input into a site like that, instead i guess he just sits back and lets his managers do the talking.
i guess you can when you have that kinda cash though.
although i think p.diddy's site was very well made and i think he had input into his.

P. Diddy's site is ok, the old Badboyonline was better, i'm curious to what Plot.dev does with the next release of badboyonline.

budget nudist ain't kidding... he's one of the whitest rappers I've ever gotten down too. (I'm more of a popper than a breaker)
maybe if there's ever a flashkit v.4 launch party he can MC.
now that I'd pay 25 bucks for!

The site is off the hook. The site was posted not the rapper. So lets do what we are suppose to here. Its people like these that bring flashkit down. If you want my opinion this thread should be closed.

I agree, not a bad site but a crap rapper....so does that mean we can put him in the 'crapper' category?
Didn't like the bg, could have done so much better
hey, don't laugh. Your daughter may be in here!!!

Rappers don't do anything with music. At best it's the Professional Wrestling of Music, which, amazingly, has an audience too. Go figure.
Oh yeah, sorry, site critique. Nothing there made me say "hey that was cool how they did that". Just alot of noise and bad jewelry thrown at me.

Overall I would say that the site was exactly what I expected. He is on the Shady label. They put their effort in amazing and shocking people via their music and put no time or money into their sites. But why should they, for the most part marketers are getting away with throwing a few high quality pics up and no content. I guess that shows one of two things, either they think their market is stupid and can't or doesn't value reading or they are cheap and able to get away with it so they do. If the money is piling up like they say I would expect them to use this as platform to expand the empire not make it a slightly more interactive CD label cover...
50, 70% 2pac, 10% Dr Dre 25% Slim Shady 5% orginal, but $#@^ if I could pull that off and get away with and make the money I would do. A smart business guy.

I think it's more on the marketers, I'm sure the artist don't care and don't bother to check on the site. If you saw the quality of the DVD that came with the CD, you would know what I mean. Stuff like that makes me wonder how do they pull these big companies/well known companies, because that DVD was poorly developed.
What do you mean by originality, you give 50 more than Pac???? Pac is the greatest rapper, hands down, and 50 has yet to reach that level. I like 50's music, but he is not on my top ten, but Eminem is, and that is well deserved, he still says things that amaze me, his delivery on certain tracks are completely unique.
