I need help!!

Hi.....

This is not really a question about flash, but about html. I did'n know were else to turn.....

I need to know how to prevent visiters to rightclick or to download pictures from a web-site...

I am showing new works from some of the best photographers in the world, and both me and the photographers don't want the visitors to steal/copy the images.

Anyone hwo knows how to do that?

If you have the code or something, that will sure be helpful...

Well, I have seen some javascripts written that can mess with the behaviour of the right click, but keep in mind that most efforts like this are futile for a large population of internet users.

I've also seen some java applets that seem to make it hard to save images.

Whenever a user visits your site, your images are already on their computer. They don't need to right click to save your image, they already have it.

Your best bet is to post the appropriate copyright info, and perhaps deface the images you are display if you are worried about theives.

What about watermarks? how does that work? Is it possible to trace photos after they are downloaded, or to make the quality bad when downloaded?

If not, I'll have to make all the galleries in flash.....
