Vector map of the world??

Howdy,

Anyone know where I can get a vector map of the world?

How about a Vector map of the US?

Or California?



Nothing too detailed. Just a basic outline of countries would be great.

All you have to do is:
1. Get a normal map
2. Import it into Flash
3. Go to Modify>Trace bitmap
4. Change the settings if you want and click ok
5. Viola! A bitmap made into a vector

its easy find a photo of what you want, put it in illustrator or free hand and use the path tool to trace round the photo.

have to agree, it is a pretty dumb way to run a pay service, it's quite easy to add at least a secure password to the page... they are making it too easy.

didnt kno ya could trace bitmaps in flash.
that might come in handy sometime
