Monitoring websites
I was looking for a tool to monitor some ( 20 ) websites. I want the tool to notify me If a webserver ( website ) is down, or a tool where you can check each hour with one click the state of the websites ( up or down )
Anybody know a tool like this ?

YH Jelly Llama Jockey
take a look at this:
http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/P...Web/page1.html
its apage tha describes how to write a PHP script to check pages for updates, you could change it a little to find out if the page is accesable.
then you could use a cronjob to run it regularly

I wanna recommend Micro Keylogger to monitor websites visited online, but I found you just wanna monitor your website and analyze, it's enough to use Piwik.

When in doubt ask

Amazon Route53 is what I use and it checks from different location around the world so can tell you which specific relays are down which can be handy when running a international website.
Wow this is my first post since September 2012! love it when old frequently visited websites are still going, not as busy as back in the hay day but still loads of familiar names lurking about in the 11 !
