good pictures page design?

i'm working on a band web site and currently thinking of doing the usual thumbnail style picture page. i would like to do something less cliche though. can i get some links to some nifty pic pages for a little guidance and inspiration? (note: guidance and inspiration, im not looking to steal ideas)
