    Flash development on Dreamcast?

I know some games on the dreamcast were made using shockwave...does anyone know of any sites that help you develop a flash game for dreamcast? I have no clue but I think it would be really cool. Thanks for any help!!

What games were made with shockwave? Are you talking about freeware stuff?

lol...ok that's what i've HEARD...I'm guessing I'm wrong then...but I do know that the dreamcast has a built in shockwave player, because on the backs of some games it has the shockwave logo. CvS2 for example has this. There must be some way to access it to play games. I've also heard its possible for PS2, but its not as easy to make DVDs as it is CDs, that's why I said dreamcast. This site shows a book about doing it for the playstation 2...

Anyone know anything about how to do this besides having to buy the book? lol

Ok guys, obviously he's not talking about professional games.

But theres a very large underground programming/developing scene still going for DC. I believe it.

in the book 'FLash Enabled' the author talks about doing development for the PS2 (sprucing up the menus and such, not actual game development)...could that be what you are thinking of?

All the Flash logo means in those games was that there was a flash enabled browser in the game. The web browsers for Dreamcast are only capable of Flash 4, terribly slow, and I doubt there'd be ANY way to have input from a controller.

There was a thread about this before, long time ago. Search for it.

Dreamcast has flash 3 on it . It was built strickly for flash animations, which kinda sucks.
