duplicate button problem

I've duplicated a button, i changed the new button names after duplicating. So i now have 10 buttons all called different things and containing different text. I have created a seperate layer for each button. Now this is the wierd thing. When I test the movie, all the buttons text changes to whatever button is on the lowest layer. Can anyone understand what i just wrote.

Any help would be great.

Do you only have this problem when you roll over the buttons?
