    How?

    Check the spinning image at the top of Bleach Eating Freaks, how the hell did they do that? I imported it and it's actionscripted cause the import was 1 frame.

    Looks like they are just rotating a few shapes (and horizontal scaling as well). You can tell it's not a true 3D sphere as the both sides of the circular shapes will intersect incorrectly on the main shape in the middle, when in true 3d you would only see the side in front of the middle object, not the side in back. Pretty slick little animation but really not that complex....

    Its not actionscripted. It is a animation from Swift3d or another 3d app that can export to swf.
    You cant import and get a true representation of what was in the fla.

    Actually even if you import swift 3d or another 3d program into flash as a move it still will show frame by frame in the edit image. It will only show one frame in the scene if it is done this way.
    If it shows only one frame if you edit all the way to the raw image that was imported it must be an animated gif.
    So actually it can be any of these things unless all are ruled out.
    Doing this will require trying to edit until you cannot edit anymore.
