    Full screen

In flash 4 I could make a link to a .swf file with a full screen command to open the .swf file in the whole window.
In flash MX this doesn't work!

Does anybody know how I can get a Flash MX shockwave movie full screen in the browser?

If u want to make a Fullscreen window in browser, u have to use javascript for that. If u r trying to do this in Flash Player, use fscommand.

    Full Screen

Can't I just make a link from html to a .swf file with a fullscreen command? It used to work in Flash 4?

Full screen is only possible with some Javascript ( thats what you had to do in F4 too). There have never been a fullscreen command in Flash ( exept for the standalone player with fscommand ).

What code did you use in F4?

You have to include the javascript in the button code.

For example look at this site: http://www.haye-transport.nl/
I simply made a link from a html page to a .swf file with a fscommand("fullscreen", "true"); in the beginning and it worked!

You can even try it with Flash MX if you publish in the Flash 4 mode.

The fscommand only works offline in the standalone player ( it has no effect on your referenced swf ).

Your page does not open in fullscreen ( at leat not here). It just resizes to the size of the browser, which is only natural when you dont embed your swf in a html document.

So you link to a swf and it does not resize to the browser? Is that what you mean?Do you have a url to post. That I'd like to see.

Did u use fscommand in the beginning of that swf ??

I think u have to use a javascript code, these are easier i think. And don't forget that, all of the computers can not run the .swf files directly. They have to be embbed in an html file.
