Usually in a battle you retain elements from the prior versions of the main theme. Since the rust can was started for example, one of the elements from the image should've been used/implemented in the next image...that way it's an ever-evolving picture that looks really cool in the end.
Otherwise, it's not a battle...but more of a show of what each person can do, devoid of any direction.

this isn't your traditional photoshop "battle" per se....
the point is for amusement, and to challenge ourselves with the task at hand.
we decided not to trade 3d models since we are using different software, so were only going on theme here. the "final" image is only the last one in the series.
as an outsider, i hope you can just view this thread in good humour, since that's the point.
It's just as "show-offy" as a "normal" battle too...

hey nice battle here...i love the dna image, and you call it just a quikeeee! youve got some skills man. I know its just a duplicate objject thing but the textures and colors work great.
