just a quick note.
everyone is speculating what technology etc will be used on the new site.

if you had paid attention to shane (and others) conversations on flashkit in the past you would get an idea of what dirrection they have taken with this site just as they have with some of thier recent work.

OK, perhaps Tony would be the only one to know this for sure...but when the timer hits zero, will the new site automatically launch? I mean, it's at 2 AM tonight (Central), so if i go to www.2advanced.com at like, ten minutes early and let it sit, will it automatically launch itself?

That would be soooo cool...god if that were the case and they used this clock as a live feed at the Neverrain gala on a big projection screen and at 0:00:10 the lights would dim and EJ would lead everyone in a chant...TEN...NINE...EIGHT... god i wish i could go to this thing...too bad i live 2000 miles away.

That's correct, due to artist contract limitations they will be restricting cameras at the door, but we will be putting up a feature (once we recover from the past week), and it should have some video clips and pictures.

How is it cheesy? There was some speculation as to when the site would launch (exact time), and now there is a set timer. I think it works fine.

No, but there's a conceptual flaw.

The timer says: "It begins at 09:26:05" (as of right now).
It should read: "It begins in 09:26:05".

i think they gonna have a good use of video effects in the interface and backgrounds, and maybe use of colors would be shades of red or greys

1) I saw Whos We during this thread, I've been away for a while, what happened to them anyway?

2) I don't think this whole "it's going to be blue" thing is really accurate. Version 2 was gray.

3) This who Neverrain thing is like a web designer's version of some big video game release party or something. Who would have ever thought there'd be a release party for a website!!!!
