Not sure what to say. I'm kinda disappointed. I think "fans" of 2advanced just expect so much of them that... well... bleh, what a big disappointment. I am rather pissed that they switched to marroon, coz I've been working on my site for the past 2 months, and I specifically went red so I don't get labeled... bastards T_T

I think it has problems as well.

Your right about the screen resolutions. We are all techs so we all have a larger monitors. But I hate to say it the world still uses 800x600. I build for 1024X768 but accomodate the smaller.

I liked the intro, and I will have to agree with the rest, put the old site back. All the movies are heavy and I am on a T1 line! Half the site I cannot access because everyone is looking at the site right now. So forget it, I only saw the company section.

One more thing, you guys may hate me for it, but you know how everyone attacks the guys that copy 2advanced old sites? Well, the outside border of the site (faded backgrounded) looks like one of my 100 photoshop tutorial sites. I have to go through them and find that site. It looks like 2advanced copied this other guy. But in a design world many people can think of the same concepts.

Anyways thats just my 2 cents.

I just designed a beautiful site using CSS that reflows to fit screens as low as 800x600 (Actually, it looks decent at 640x480), works cross-browser and cross-platform, is easy to maintain and update, etc. etc.

I mean, Flash does have some built-in commands to reflow data based on the size of the stage, but most designers can't be bothered...

    Time

It would also take alot of time to rebuild the layout just for each resolution.

My favorite part of the new site:

    Someone thinks highly of himself.
I'm still searching for the image of the crucified designer...

    heh

Well, I wouldn't really diss the site. Yeah , so I stayed up until 2 a.m. to see it...
    It was worth it.
It wasn't as I expected, but they were probably working on it until the party started. It beats v3.

    not impressed at all.

no, not saying I can do better, but the hype doesn't live up to the results, IMHO.

True, they pushed it a little much. Though I feel the reel lived up to the hype.
